JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. -- The Southwestern men's golf team finished 16th in the first day of the 54-hole Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational played at the Pine Lakes Golf Club on Friday, March 15.
The Pirates team scored 299 par on the first day, with Cade Osgood tied for 19th with a 72 par. Sutherland Silth followed with a score of 75 par in the first round.
Illinois Wesleyan and LaGrange tied with a team score of even-par 288. Emory, placing at 3rd with a 289, was followed by Huntingdon College and Hampden-Sydney tied in 4th.
