TUNICA, Miss. - Taking on some of the top teams in the nation the Southwestern Pirates sit atop the leaderboard at the Rhodes College Fall Classic, shooting a 288 as a team through one round. 

Senior Cody Hebert, first-year Devon Horne and junior Connor Murphy all shot a one-under-par 71 to finish the event tied for second. Berry College's Ryan Elmore leads individually with a 70. 

Tyler Gammill was just four strokes behind his teammates with a 75 and Matthew Christl shot a 76. 

Southwestern looks to maintain the top spot on Monday as they head out for another round on Monday.
