TUNICA, Mississippi - The Southwestern Pirates men's golf team played in their second tournament of the season on Monday. The Pirates placed fifth overall in Rhodes College Fall Classic Par 72 – 7111-yard course.
Sutherland Stith tied for 6th place with a total score of 211 points and -5. Stith did very well in par 4 with a score of 3.80 (-6) Stith had 38 birdies to help him place 6th in the tournament. Another Pirate who competed well was Cade Osgood who placed 14th overall in the tournament with a score of 213 points and -3. Osgood scored 2.92 (-1) in par 3 and 4.67 (-4) in par 4.
The Pirates next tournament will take place in Destin, Florida, at Golfweek Invitational Oct. 12-16th.
