
After a final round 74 Southwestern's Cody Hebert finished his NCAA Championship run tied for 26th with a 297.
Hebert opened the Championship with a four over par 76 and got stronger as the tournament went on. An even par 72 second round put him in the running for the finals and a five foot birdie putt sent Hebert into final rounds as an individual.
A three over par 75 kept Hebert in the top 35 on day three and he closed the tournament with another strong performance, posting a two over par 74 in the final day to move up eight spots.
Southwestern finished in 22nd place as a team at the Championship and missed the cut by eight strokes with a 613 team score. La Verne's Kelby Scharmann won the event with a nine-under-par 279. Methodist University won the Championship with a 1173 team score at 21 over par through four rounds, beating out LaGrange by just three strokes.
