GEORGETOWN, Texas - After a shaky start to the spring season the Pirate men's golf team dropped four spots to #13 in the latest Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll out Friday, March 11th. 

Methodist continues to occupy the #1 slot with 11 first place votes. 

Southwestern started the spring in ninth place nationally, but finished in 7th place at the Schreiner Spring Shootout, their only contest thus far. 

The Pirates will have a chance to make a huge statement at their next competition. They head to Jekyll Island, Ga. for the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational beginning on March 18th. The three-day event hosts the top teams in the nation.
