NORMAN, Okla. - With one tournament to go in the fall the Southwestern men's golf team fell one spot to #14 in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll.
Methodist received 11 first-place votes to keep the top ranking and have been No. 1 in all three fall rankings.
Berry jumped up seven spots to second after receiving four first-place votes. Oglethorpe and Wittenberg each fell one rung to third and fourth, respectively. St. Thomas (MN) claimed the final first-place vote to climb 10 places to No. 5. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps checked in at No. 6 and was followed by UT Tyler. Rhodes made the biggest move in the ranking, improving 12 spots to No. 8. Ninth-ranked St. John Fisher and Illinois Wesleyan complete the top 10.
Concordia (TX) (#17), Bethel (MN) (#21), Centre (#22) and Gustavus Adolphus (#24) debuted in the top 25. Spalding reentred the ranking at No. 20
California Lutheran, La Verne, Rochester, Texas Lutheran and Washington & Lee dropped from the top 25.
Southwestern competes in the final tournament of the fall on October 26th and 27th in Abilene.
