GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Ethan Bridges, a sophomore from Montgomery, Texas, by way of The Woodlands Christian Academy, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through Tuesday, March 12.

Bridges earned medalist honors, scoring par on the first playoff hole to defeat his teammate Matthew Peesker. The Pirate duo both carded a three-round total of 214 (-2) - the only golfers in the 78-player field to finish under par - to lead Southwestern to the team victory at the FST/LeTourneau Invitational contested at Pinecrest Country Club in Longview, Texas.

Bridges shot the low round of the tournament, opening the event with a seven-under (65), collecting eight birdies and just one bogey in round one. He bookended his tournament with a 73 (+2) in round three to finish tied atop the leaderboard.
