Men's golf closes Jekyll Island tied for 14th

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - Southwestern closed a strong showing at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational Sunday, finishing tied for 14th.

Matthew Christl led the Pirates, closing the day tied for 43rd with 225 strokes (72-78-75). Sutherland Stith posted a 76 in his final round to place 55th (tied) with a 227 total (77-74-76). Tyler Gammily and John Kellum tied for 80th at 231 strokes and Andrew DeHennis rounded out play, finishing tied for 106th.

Southwestern comes home to host the West Region Invitational at Berry Creek Country Club beginning on April 3rd.
