Men's golf finishes strong at Golfweek

SANDESTIN, Fla. - Southwestern rebounded with a one-over-par 289 team score in the third round at the Division III Golfweek Invitational to finish in 13th overall. 

The top teams in the nation were invited to compete and Southwestern stumbled at the start but clawed their was back throughout the remainder of the tournament. SU shaved 21 strokes off their first round and finished with 900 strokes overall.

Tyler Gammill (74-76-71) and Cade Osgood (79-69-73) tied for 22nd place overall with 221 strokes. Matthew Christly (77-77-72) came in tied for 48th, Andrew DeHennis (80-79-73) tied for 71st and Devon Horne in 95th (DQ-79-76).

The Pirates remain on the links as they head to San Antonio next week to compete in the Alamo City Classic.
