CHRISTIAN RODRIGUEZ OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Houston, Texas, has been selected for the SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for competition from Wednesday, March 30 through Tuesday, April 5.  

Rodriguez took first place honors at the West Region Invitational at Berry Creek Country Club, shooting a three-round total of 212 (-4) to finish atop the 54-player field. His seven-under, second round 65 was the low round of the tournament and helped push his Pirates to the team title. Rodriguez also tied the course record and even tied the low individual round in Southwestern Men's golf history. He currently holds the men's record for the Lo 36 hole total for the Pirates.
