Southwestern men's golfer Christian Rodriguez is the SU Men's Featured Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Alamo City Classic at The Quarry Golf Course hosted by Trinity. 

Rodriguez finished second on the individual leaderboard, scoring a 211 in three rounds to lead the Pirates, who finished fifth. The junior from Houston, Texas, finished the event with 12 birdies, making par 34 times. 

The men's golf team will travel to Destin, Florida, this weekend to compete in the Golfweek Invitational from Saturday, Oct. 16 to Tuesday, October 19.
