Osgood earns PING First Team All-America honors

SILVIS, Ill. – PING First-Team All-America honorees for Division III have been announced by the GCAA following the NCAA Division III Championships and sophomore Cade Osgood was one of eight named in the report. 

First-Team All-Americans included Josh Gibson of Hope, UT Tyler's Sam Hill, Wisconson-Eau Claire's Ryan Isaacson, Ryan Muthiora of Kenyon, Illinois Wesleyan's Conner O'Neil, Cade Osgood of Southwestern (TX), Washington & Lee's Ryan Peccie, and Logan Young of Concordia (TX).

Osgood shot onto the scene this season and has racked up the awards in his sophomore campaign. Osgood was a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus Division III Player of the Year Award presented by Barasol, earned All-Region honors and All-SCAC honors after winning the individual title at the SCAC Championship. He posted three additional top five finishes and placed outside the top eight only once in nine events prior to the Championship.
