2011 (First-year)
Lynch started seven of the 13 games he appeared in in his first season with the Pirates. He posted nine hits in 28 at bats for a .321 batting average with four doubles while scoring six runs and driving in nine.
High School
Zach, a 2010 graduate of Troy High School, earned three varsity letters in baseball while playing for the Trojans. He also lettered in basketball for three years. On top of being a three time selection to the All District team as an infielder, Zach was named to the 2010 Cen Tex All Star team and was named to the Super Cen Tex team. Zach was also a 2 time district MVP in basketball.
Personal
Zach is the son of Matt and Phyllis and has one brother, Tyler. Zach is a kinesiology major with a math minor at SU.
