Marc is a 2008 graduate of Robinson High School in Robinson, TX. He competed in basketball and football in addition to baseball as a Rocket. He was named as a 17-3A All District Honorable Mention outfielder in 2008. In addition to his on the field honors, Marc was named the top physics student, won the Einstein Award and was inducted into the National Honor Society.

Marc is the son of Bob and Cheri Brace and has one brother, Sean. Marc is an accounting major at Southwestern University.
