2011 (Senior)

Lowry had the second lowest ERA (3.65) among active pitchers in his final season with the Pirates. He made 14 appearances and five starts while allowing 51 hits and 30 runs, 18 earned, while walking 13 and striking out 23.

2010 (Junior)

Started six games in his Junior campaign pitching 32 innings...posted a 2-5 record...allowed 45 hits and 27 earned runs for a 7.59 ERA...walked 13 and struck out 14 on the year...named to the SCAC Spring 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

2009 (Sophomore)
Went 1-2 in 17 appearances for the Pirates this season...in 28.1 innings he allowed 25 hits and 15 earned runs for a 4.76 ERA, fifth among the Pirate pitching staff...walked 12 while striking out 14 and held opponents to a .240 batting average.

2008 (First-year)
Appeared on the mound in two games in his first year as a Pirate...in two innings of work allowed three hits and one earned run in eight at-bats for a 4.50 ERA.

High School
Lowry was the 24-4A Most Valuable Player, a Herald-Coaster All-Area MVP in 2007 and an Academic All-District pick for the Rangers.

Alan is the son of Walker and Lisa Lowry...born on July 21, 1989...has a twin brother Chris who plays baseball at SU and another brother Will...is majoring in business with a computer science minor at SU.
