2011 (Senior)

Ashford led tehe team with a .392 batting average and was second in on base percentage (.484), playing in 19 games and starting 15 of those contests. He had 20 hits in 51 at bats with one double and one homerun. Ashford scored 10 runs and drove in 13.

2009-2010 (Junior)

Appeared in 17 games for the Pirates...finished with a .171 batting average with 6 hits in 35 at bats and 3 runs scored and 4 runs batted in...had only 3 errors on the season for a .938 fielding percentage with 37 put outs and 8 assists.

2008-2009 (Sophomore)

Started seven and saw action in 17 games for the Pirates...was fifth on the team with a .300 batting average with nine hits in 30 at bats...had just one error this season for a.985 fielding percentage.

2007-2008 (First-year)
Saw action in 19 games and started ten contests as a first-year student...hit .172 from the plate...was tied for third on the team in sacrifice bunts...had a .974 fielding percentage.

High School
Ashford was 4A Academic All-State selection and a Honorable Mention All-District pick for the Hawks at Red Oak HS.

Nick is the son of Gary and Tammy Ashford...has one brother - Jake.  Nick is majoring in computer science and physics with a minor in mathematics.
