GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Baseball closed out their three-game series today after a double-header against the LeTourneau where the Pirates went 1-1 on the day and 2-1 overall for the series. The Pirates took game one of the double-header, 9-6, followed by a 4-0 loss in the second game of the day.
HIGHLIGHTS GAME 1
- Four different Pirates collected multiple hits and five different players drove in runs.
- James Vaquero and Ben Feuer led the team in RBIs with two a piece, each scoring runs as well.
- Maxwell Mims stole three bases and scored one run.
NOTES FROM GAMES 1 & 2
- In game two, Ryan Corbett threw five strike outs in four innings pitched, allowing three runs.
- Southwestern was allowed one hit in game two compared two nine hits from LeTourneau.
- The Pirates allowed four stolen bases in game two but caught one YellowJacket stealing.

- The Pirates will play the Poets of Whittier College to start spring break on Monday March 11th at 7:00 PM.
