Went 3-5 in 15 appearances on the mound of the Pirates...logged a 6.75 ERA while starting 8 games...in 53.1 innings of work allowed 61 hits, 40 earned runs...walked 36 while striking out 61...help opponents to .290 batting average, second lowest on the team.

Freeman was a First Team 4-5A All-District selection, was a team captain his senior year and an All-Area Strikeout Leader for the Tigers at Mansfield HS.
