Southwestern Men's Tennis defeated the Concordia Tornadoes, 6-3. It was a hard fought match and the Pirates came out on top!

Being down 1-2 after doubles meant the Pirates had a long match ahead of them. The doubles point the Pirates achieved was earned by Bernardo Clemente and Parth Patel. Clemente and Patel had a hard fought match but were able to find a way to win. The natural chemistry between the two in doubles is second to none.

Entering singles, the confidence was high among the whole team although doubles did not go completely the way they had hoped. It was crucial to keep the energy up and rolling to win the match. Senior Captain Steven Tibbetts had a thrilling win at line two singles, 4-6, 7-5, 10-7. Ashton Ellis and Ryan Flanagan both had huge wins for the Pirates. Both Ellis and Flanagan won in straight sets. Anton Borovik and Oscar Roy also had incredible straight set wins.

Once again, the Southwestern Men's Tennis team had an outstanding performance and was able to get the victory, 6-3. Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Conference Tournament which will be held here at Southwestern University, April 28-30, at the Pirates' home courts!
