Southwestern men's tennis received the highest ranking in program history in the latest NCAA Regional Rankings, placing second behind Trinity University in the West.
Hunter Bajoit, a junior from The Woodlands, Texas, was ranked fourth in the region in singles, marking the highest individual regional ranking in Southwestern men's tennis history. Bajoit has an 11-1 personal record this season, including a perfect 11-0 in No. 2 singles, with his lone defeat coming in No. 1 singles against Trinity.
Southwestern ended the regular season with a 13-1 record, with its lone loss coming against Trinity in the last match before the conference championships. The Pirates were 8-1 against regional opponents. Southwestern will compete in the SCAC Championships starting on Friday, April 30, in San Antonio, Texas.
