"Dean returned exceptionally well today with great point of contact," Porter said. "I also really liked the way he stepped in on short balls finding the corners."

Rodero Esteban defeated Carandang 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 5 spot, followed by Tyler Norman besting Dristan Weaver in No. 6 singles.

"Tyler continues to play well and was very solid for us at No. 6 singles today," Porter said.
