GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Men's Tennis took on the University of Dallas Crusaders on the campus of The University of Texas - Dallas in what would be a double-header for the Pirates on Saturday. Southwestern battled the University of Dallas first and went on to sweep the Crusaders 9-0. Southwestern then took on the University of Texas-Dallas and came away with their second win of the day, beating the Comets, 6-3.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The sophomore pairing of Joseph Snyman and Landon Sosebee swept their doubles match, 8-0
- Ashton Ellis, Ryan Flanagan, Rylan Hastings, and Sebastian Herrera each took victories in their singles match by way of 6-0, 6-0.
- Bernardo Clemente earned a victory as the third single, 6-1, 6-0
- Oscar Roy won his singles match handily against the Comets, winning 6-1, 6-1.
- Bernardo Clemente came back after dropping the first set to his opponent, winning 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.
- Joseph Snyman and Travis Rafferty both won hard-fought battles in their matches against Comet opponents.

- Ashton Ellis and Oscar Roy won their doubles match by a margin of, 8-4.
- Jared Burton and Travis Rafferty claimed victory in their doubles match, 8-1.
- Oscar Roy took the win in his singles match 6-2, 7-5.
- The teams of Travis Rafferty and Jared Burton as well as the teams of Oscar Roy and Ashton Ellis won their doubles matches 8-7, 8-6 and 8-4 respectively.
