GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern Men's and Women's Tennis teams traveled to Sherman, TX to take on the Austin College Roos for their 2024 Season Opener on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 5:30 PM. The Pirates beat the Roos, 9-0. 

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Anton Borovik and Sebastian Herrera won their doubles match 8-0. 
• Joseph Snyman and Landon Sosebee closed out their doubles match 8-2. 
• Borovik won his singles match 6-0, 6-1. 
• Parth Patel won his singles match in two sets, 6-3, 6-1. 
• Rylan Hastings defeated his singles opponent, 6-4, 6-1. 
• Sebastian Herrera won his singles match, 6-0, 6-1. 
• Jared Burton won his singles match, 6-0, 6-2. 

Notes:

• Rylan Hastings and Ryan Flannagan won their doubles match by forfeit, along with Landon Sosebee and his single's match.

The Pirates travel to play both the University of Dallas and Texas-Dallas in a Double-Header on Saturday, February 17th at 11am and 3:00pm.
