The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its national rankings this week, moving the Southwestern men's tennis team up to No. 19 from No. 23.
Southwestern wrapped up the regular season and the conference tournament with a 15-7 record, finishing as the runner-up to Trinity University. The Pirates have posted wins over several currently ranked teams, including No. 21 Wesleyan and No. 20 Kenyon.
The Pirates are also ranked sixth in the West Region, led by senior Hunter Bajoit, the third-ranked singles player in the region.
Southwestern will learn its postseason fate on Monday, May 9, when the NCAA announces its tournament field. The NCAA will announce individual qualifiers on Wednesday, May 9.
