
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its latest singles and doubles regional rankings, listing Southwestern men's tennis seventh in the West Region, with Hunter Bajoit its fourth-best singles player and Vekso Lekovic and Hemanshu Rambojun the No. 14 doubles team.
Southwestern is currently ranked No. 23 in the nation with wins over nationally-ranked Wesleyan (26) and Kenyon (24).
Bajoit is 8-5 this season at No. 1 singles, with wins over nationally-ranked Christopher Newport's Alec Strause, Wesleyan's Peter Anker, and Kenyon's Luis Andrews. He is the second-highest ranked player from Texas and the SCAC, trailing Trinity's Cameron Krimbill.
Lekovic and Ramobjun are 3-5 with wins over LeTourneau, Rhodes, and Kenyon.
Southwestern is 6-6 this season. The Pirates' next three matches feature conference opponents, starting with Austin College at home on Friday, followed by road matches against Texas Lutheran and St. Thomas on April 8 and 9.
