Alexis Dimanche Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team Honors

Southwestern University Pirates men's tennis player Alexis Dimanche earned 2019-20 Academic All-District First Team honors with an at-large bid. 

Dimanche was one of 16 male student-athletes from NCAA Division III District 8 to receive the honor, which awarded by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and the classroom. 

He finishes his career as the men's tennis program's all-time career wins leader and a long list of athletic and academic accolades. This season, he won a second consecutive SCAC Elite 19 Award, which honors one student-athlete from each sport in the conference who presents the best combination of academic and athletic achievements in a season. Dimanche won the award with a 3.93 cumulative GPA. 

Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District® will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. Academic AllAmerica® honorees will be announced from June 16-19.
