Southwestern University men's tennis player Alexander Joseph was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Player of the Week for matches played from Feb. 11-17.

Working from the No. 3 line, Joseph won both singles matches over the weekend, defeating McMurry University's Connor Hogan (6-0, 6-2) and Hardin-Simmons University's Griffin Weinkam (6-1, 6-0).

The Pirates are 2-0 this season with both wins coming on the road. Southwestern will play Concordia Texas on Friday, Feb. 22 at 4:00 p.m.
