Phillips recorded one assist for one point while picking up 14 groundballs in his first season with the Pirates.
High School
Jake earned varsity letters in both baseball and football for the Hawks during his high school career. Jake was named academic All State in football as well as being named to both the All County and All district teams on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. He was also and AP scholar during his time at Canyon Lake High School.
Personal
Jake is the son of Mary and Richard and has five siblings, Josh, Ashley, Diane, Krisitin, and Mike. Jake is majoring in political science at SU.
