GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Men's Lacrosse (2-10) completed their two-game stretch in Illinois after facing the Elmhurst University BlueJays (7-2) on Saturday afternoon. The Pirates were neck and neck with the BlueJays throughout the first three quarters, going into halftime tied 6-6. But Elmhurst went on a six-goal run in the final quarter and handed the Pirates a 15-9 loss at Lanhorst Field.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Jackson Strauser completed his fifth game of the season with three or more goals, netting a hat trick.
- Chris Steffek caused three turnovers against the BlueJays and added four groundballs to his stat line.
- Caleb Sowell also caused three turnovers while scooping up two GBs in the game.
NOTES
- Cade McDonald was second in scoring for the game with two goals, adding an assist.
- Henry Cool went for two points against Elmhurst, collecting a goal and an assist.
- Southwestern was just 25.7% shooting on thirty-five total shots.

- Men's Lacrosse will have their final game of the season on April 6th at 1:00 PM when they take on Colorado College on senior day.
