GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Pirates dominated the first half and cruised to a 17-10 win over Millsaps College on Friday at home.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Southwestern started out two goals down but responded with five straight to end the first quarter with a 5-2 lead.
  • The Pirates continued to roll in the second quarter and mounted a huge lead by halftime, leading 11-5.
  • To open the third SU scored three straight before Millsaps got on the board again and led 15-6 heading into the final frame.
  • Teams traded goals until Millsaps posted the final goal with 2:13 remaining to arrive at the final.
