Men's Lacrosse Ends Home Stand with Win over Hendrix

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Men's Lacrosse (1-7) capped off their five-game home stand in March against the Hendrix College Warriors (4-3) on Monday night. The Pirates jumped out to an early 14-8 lead by the end of the first half and rode the lead all the way to a 19-15 victory on Varsity Field.

  • Nine different Pirates notched goals against their opponent.
  • The Pirates out-ground balled the Warriors 49-27 and went 3-3 on extra man opportunities.
  • Trey Pena led the Pirates in ground balls with thirteen, also going 59% at the faceoff.
