Southwestern men's lacrosse ended their 2015 campaign with a 6-10 record falling 21-4 to Whittier College in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Whittier opened the scoring just 30 seconds into the game with a goal by Prevedel, but SU quickly answered as Everett Barger found the back of the net.
The Poets then closed the quarter on a 6-0 run and added one more in the second to send the Pirates into the locker room trailing 8-1.
Dakota Butler opened the third quarter with a goal to pull the Pirates within six, but Whittier when on a run to close the game 13-2 to arrive at the 21-4 final.
Barger and Butler led the scoring with two goals each. Southwestern was outshot 60-19 and won just five of 22 faceoffs.
Southwestern ends the year at 6-10.
