Cowan was a permanent fixture in the Pirate offensive attack in his first season. He was fourth on the team in assists (9), fifth goals with 13 and sixth in points (22). Cowan had his best game of the year in the season opener where he scored four goals and notched eight assists against the University of Dallas.
High School
Carter earned varsity letters in both soccer and lacrosse during his high school career with the Crusaders.
Personal
He is the son of Quint and Karen and has one sibling, Mackenzie. Carter is majoring in computer science at SU.
