Hudson Bearden of Southwestern University, a senior faceoff man from Aledo, Texas has been named the HCLC Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 28th through Sunday April 3rd. 

Bearden is now the No. 7th faceoff man in the country for Division III. In two games this week Bearden passed 400 career faceoff wins for a total of 434 wins. Bearden went 90 percent win percentage against Gwynedd Mercy going 18-of-20. Against McDaniel, Bearden was 88.5 percent going 23-of-26, Bearden has been dominant this season against all opponents with a season faceoff win percentage of 73 percent.
