Nate Blair Named HCLC Defensive Player of the Week

Nate Blair of Southwestern University, a goaltender from San Diego, California, has been named HCLC Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, Feb. 7th through Sunday, Feb. 13th. 

Blair had an outstanding game for the Pirates in a 14-5 win against Birmingham-Southern College. He denied 13 shots and finished with a 72 percent save percentage on the day. Blair also managed an assist with a deep pass to an attackman on the offenive end. The Pirates are 1-1 on the season and play the Centenary College Gentleman on Sunday, Feb. 20th.
