The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2021 men's lacrosse all-conference team with 11 Southwestern players named across the two All-SCAC teams.

Hudson Bearden, Will Thompson, Zac Asbury, and Jack Doloszycki headlined the Southwestern selections with All-SCAC First Team honors. Bearden, a junior face-off specialist from Aledo, Texas, was named SCAC Specialist of the Year. Thompson, a sophomore defender from Houston, Texas, earned SCAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year alongside Colorado College's Billy Hutchison.

Bearden, a junior from Aledo, Texas, was named the league's Specialist-of-the-Year after winning 194-of-241 total attempts for a remarkable .805 average (currently second in the nation), setting a new school record. Bearden also added a league-best 124 ground balls in 10 games played for an average of 12.40 ground balls per game, marks that are both currently ranked top 10 in the country. His ground balls-per-game sets a new SCAC single-season record, and his 124 total ground balls are the fourth-best single-season mark in league history. He also added three goals and two assists for five total points to his resume. A two-time SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week, Bearden is the first-ever Southwestern student-athlete to earn the Specialist-of-the-Year accolade.

Thompson, a sophomore defender from Houston, Texas, was the backbone of the Pirates' defensive unit that allowed a league-low 119 goals and posted a goals-against-average of 9.92 which was good enough for second-best in the SCAC. His 17 caused turnovers placed him tops in the SCAC and his 27 collected ground balls finished tied for seventh overall in the conference. Four different times, Thompson caused two or more turnovers in a game, led by his five-caused turnover performance in a 27-3 win over Centenary on April 2. Thompson anchored a defense that held opponents to five goals or less on five different times during the season, which set the mark for all SCAC squads. He helped lead a Pirates backline that averaged 10.75 caused turnovers per game, also a SCAC best. Thompson is the first-ever Southwestern Pirate to be acknowledged as SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Year in program history.

Asbury, a senior attacker, finished third in the SCAC in goals scored (26), second in assists (35), and second in points (61). His assists per game (2.83) were 18th in the nation. His 5.08 points per game this season rank fourth all-time in program history, giving Asbury three of the top five spots on Southwestern's all-time rankings. His 267 career points and 153 assists are the most in Southwestern history.

Doloszycki, a junior midfielder, scored 12 goals and dished out four assists for a career-best 16 points. He also contributed 17 ground balls and five caused turnovers.

Nick Doxey, Jacob Hamilton, Tyler Johnson, Aidan Gildea, Tyler Santos, Jake Hessinger, and Matt Minnick were named to the All-SCAC Second Team.

Doxey, a junior attacker from Houston, Texas, finished third on the team in goals (22), assists (10), and points (32), posting career-highs in all three categories. He also contributed 12 ground balls and two caused turnovers.
