Zac Asbury Named to USILA Team of the Week

Southwestern University Pirates men's lacrosse attacker Zac Asbury received national recognition, earning United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Team of the Week honors for the week of Feb. 10.

Asbury, the reigning Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Offensive Player of the Year, scored nine points off four goals and five assists in the Pirates' 15-8 victory over the Hendrix College Warriors in the season opener.

The junior from Thousand Oaks, California has 190 career points on 110 assists and 80 goals. Southwestern (1-0) will play Birmingham-Southern College (1-0) on Saturday, Feb. 15 at noon.
