WILLIAMS SELECTED AS SCAC PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK

SUWANEE, Ga. - Edward Williams, a first-year attacker from Houston, Texas, was selected as the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for the week of 2/22 through 2/28.

Williams recorded six goals in three games as the Pirates opened their inaugural season in California. His first goal on Thursday evening against Whittier was the first-ever NCAA goal for Southwestern.

Williams finished the week with six goals on 17 shots and two total ground balls in the contests.

The Pirates continue their season with a pair of games in St. Louis, Mo. this coming weekend. They face Carthage on Friday at 7pm and Fontbonne on Sunday at noon.
