Appeared in 12 games in her first season with the Pirates and
started two of those contests...went 3-9 from the plate for .333
batting average...had one double and one RBI...posted .444 slugging
percentage and .400 on base percentage.
High School
Lujan was a four year starter for the Cougars, was a Honorable
Mention All-District pick in 2007 and 2008, a 2005 Academic
All-District selection and a Golden Glove Award winner in 2008 at
Connally HS in Austin, TX.

Shelby is the daughter of Robert and June Lujan...born on November
22, 1989...has three brothers - Chris, Andrew and Jacob...is an
Education major with a minor in Political Science at SU.
