GEORGETOWN, TX - Southwestern Softball (0-8) made the short trip to Austin to take on the Concordia University Tornados (2-2) for a doubleheader Tuesday evening. The Pirates tied it up in the fourth inning of game one, but the Tornados added three runs in the sixth to win game one, 7-3. The Pirates struggled to get on base for game two, losing 9-1.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Erica Otto led the Pirates with three hits, all earned in game one, including a triple in the 7th inning.
- Jaden Wheeler doubled down the leftfield line, bringing in Brooke Yanta and Ashtyn Aldrete to score and tie up the game in game one.
- Jaden Wheeler led the Pirates with two RBIs, and Booke Yanta and Daniella Clark each earned one.
