
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Softball (13-21) hosted Austin College (18-18) on Saturday, April 27, 2024, for a double-header to wrap up the three-game series and their regular season. Coming off a 13-0 win in game one, the Pirates quickly jumped out to a 2-0 lead over the Roos in Game two. The Pirates were quick to fill the bases, but the Roos were able to hold off their runs. The Pirates finished strong, earning the 3-0 shutout. After three innings, the Pirates maintained just a one run lead in game three. They improved upon the lead in the sixth inning and walked away with the 7-2 win and series sweep.
Brooke Yanta, Samantha Saenz, and Hailey Arrington were recognized before the games for their leadership and hardwork put into the program as the seniors for this 2024 team.

- Meghan McCarthy went 7-10 with 4 RBI, 2 doubles, a Homerun.
- Hailey Arrington pitched game 3 for the win, allowing 2 runs and forcing 2 strikeouts.
- Samantha Saenz batted in 3 RBI in game 3 alone.
