MAUS NAMED AS SCAC PITCHER OF THE WEEK FOR THE SCAC

Lyndsy Maus, a sophomore right-hander from Cypress, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.

Maus went 3-0 this weekend, starting one contest and coming in relief in two. In 14 innings she allowed 12 hits, one run (unearned) while striking out 10 and walking just one batter. She held Hendrix to a .214 batting average.

For the season, Maus is 10-3 with a 1.16 ERA in just over 78 innings of work. The Sophomore is holding opponents to .218 from the plate and has struck out 65 batters.

Southwestern has two non-conference match-ups this week, play Concordia on Wednesday at Old Settler's Park at 5:00 & 7:00 and at the University of Dallas on April 11th at 2:00 & 4:00.
