LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Sophomore Amelia Fuchs and first-year Lindsey Longuet were named the SCAC Hitter of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for games played February 7-12. 

Fuchs posted a .400 batting average and 1.000 slugging percentage in four games for the Pirates last week. Fuchs went 2 for 3 against Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday including a solo home run. She also had a perfect fielding percentage with nine putouts and one assist. 

Longuet went 1-1 in two starts this week including a complete-game victory over Millsaps Saturday. She posted a 1.70 ERA in 12.1 innings of work, allowing three earned runs on 11 hits with three walks and a team-high 18 strikeouts. 

Southwestern returns to play on Saturday, hosting NAIA Our Lady of the Lake for a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m.
