2014

Eichner appeared in three games for the Pirates this season, logging 83 minutes in goal. He posted seven saves and a .700 save percentage while allowing three goals for a 3.23 goals against average. Eichner had a season-high four saves in SU’s 5-0 loss to Colorado College in the SCAC Championship on November 8th.

High School

Eichner competed in soccer four years, tennis two season and cross country one. He was an Academic All-State selection once, two-time Academic All-District and was named Goalkeeper of the Year, Honorable Mention All-State and First Team All-Region. He also earned the Heath Eiland Heart Award and was team captain.

Personal

Sam is the son of Alice and Edward Eichner and has one sibling, Erin. He is planning to major in kinesiology at Southwestern.
