Carmichael started 17 of the 19 games he saw action in this season, logging 1669:31 minutes in goal for the Pirates. He had a 7-11-1 record with four shutouts, .652 save percentage and 73 saves. He allowed 39 goals for a 2.10 goals against average. Carmichael had a season-high 11 saves against Christopher Newport on September 14th and also posted 10 saves in SU’s 4-0 loss at Trinity. 2013
Carmichael appeared in three games and started one time for the Pirates. He logged 61:07 minutes in goal, allowing two goals for a 2.95 goals against average.
High School
Travis graduated from Byron Nelson HS in 2013. In 2012 and 2013 he was named Defensive MVP, First Team All-District and was a member of the National Honor Society. In 2013 he was also awarded All-State Academic and helped his team win the district championship.
Personal
Travis is the son of Heidi and Greg Carmichael and has one brother, Mason. He is majoring in business with a minor in physics at Southwestern.
