GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- The Pirates traveled to Seguin, TX to take on the #19 Nationally ranked Texas Lutheran Bulldogs. 

Coming off of two straight wins, the Pirates needed this one to give themselves the best position for the SCAC Tournament. The Pirates rose to the occasion and took care of business as they looked unfazed by the big matchup and, instead, in control and patient. Fifteen minutes into the match, Raghav Sharma assisted it to Mofe Ariyo for the early lead. There were very few shots by both teams and the Pirates did a great job contesting any attempts by the Bulldogs. Out of the ten total shots for the Bulldogs, only one was on target, which was successful, tying it up with less than forty minutes to play. 

The Pirates took advantage of another strong throw-in and Raghav Sharma was able to get a foot on a loose ball to connect for his seventh goal of the season and the game-winner. Peyton Sullivan was credited with the assist, and the Pirates shutout the Bulldogs for the remaining twenty minutes and earned the 2-1 victory.
