Women's Soccer

2014

Bevins appeared on the pitch in 17 matches this season and scored two goals with one assist to tie for the team leader in points. She took 21 shots with six being on frame for a .286 shots on goal percentage. Bevins’ goal against Schreiner University on September 28^th was a game winner. She was a First Team All-SCAC selection, named to the SCAC All-Tournament Team and was a member of the Fall SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2013

In her first year with the Pirates, Bevins made a big impact on the field, appearing in all 20 contests on the season. She was second on the team in goals with seven and assists with five for 19 points. Bevins took 47 shots on the year with 30 being on goal for a .638 shots on goal percentage. For her outstanding play, Bevins was selected as the SCAC Newcomer of the Year and Second Team All-SCAC. She was a Co-SCAC Offensive Player of the Week during week eight and also earned a spot on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll, Dean's List and Director of Athletics Academic Excellence Award.

High School

Bevins was a letter winner for the Warrior soccer team and was an Academic All-District pick from 2010-2013 and earned Academic All-State honors 2012-2013. She played for the Lonestar Soccer Club ’95.

Personal

Sarah is the daughter of Katherine and Martin Bevins and has two siblings, West and Lilah. She is majoring in biology at Southwestern and is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Zeta Tau Alpha and H.E.A.T.
