GEORGETOWN, Texas — Southwestern women's soccer and the University of Dallas Crusaders went scoreless through regulation and two overtimes, leaving the No. 22-ranked Pirates with their first draw of the season.

The Pirates celebrated their seniors before the game, honoring a class that earned the program's first conference championship, first NCAA Tournament appearance, and first national ranking.

However, Southwestern's attack couldn't provide the fireworks despite a 20-15 edge in shot attempts against Dallas. After a relatively clean game in the first half, the physicality ramped up in the second half with a combined 14 fouls and five yellow cards after the break.

Dallas put four shots on goal, which were all stopped by Southwestern keeper Johnna Campbell. Her counterpart on the Dallas side, Kaitlyn Vess, made nine saves.

The game marks only the second time the Pirates went scoreless this season, going back to a 2-0 loss to East Texas Baptist on Sept. 19 for Southwestern's only blemish so far.

With the draw, Southwestern is now 13-1-1 on the season with a 5-0-1 conference record. Southwestern will close out the season next Saturday on the road against Texas Lutheran with an opportunity to win the SCAC regular-season title and the top seed in the SCAC Tournament with a win.
