GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- The Women's soccer team wrapped up their challenging preseason and traveled to Houston, Texas to take on the University of St. Thomas at Sabercats Stadium. 

The Pirates kept the pressure on the Celts, but could not capitalize with a goal despite outshooting the Celts 15 to 8. The Pirates also had nine corner shots compared to St. Thomas with zero. Both teams would have to call this one a draw as the game finished with a 0-0 Tie. 

Next up, the Pirates continue their conference play with another Away match versus Centenary(La.) on October 8 at 12:00 PM CDT.
