GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- Under the lights on Friday the 13th, the Pirates hosted the Trinity Tigers for both teams third conference game of the season. 

The Pirates came into the match 1-0-1, while Trinity was 2-0. The first half, was uneventful, with both teams fighting hard to keep possession. The Pirates managed to get just one shot off but luckily were unfazed by the Tiger's six shots on goal. Both teams went into halftime looking to make some changes and were tied 0-0. Early in the second half, Trinity's Khan drilled one from outside the box to give the Tiger's the lead. Southwestern rallied, earning multiple corner kicks and a long, left-footed shot from Hazen that struck the crossbar, but ultimately couldn't get one past Trinity's Lewis in goal. 

Trinity would go on to score three more goals and shut out the Pirates 4-0. 

The Pirates host Schreiner at Varsity Field 12:00 PM CDT on Sunday, October 15.
